Our story
Jamaica, cooked honestly.
A family kitchen on State Road 50, serving the food we grew up on. No shortcuts and no watering down.

Jamaican
Cuisine
Where it comes from
Recipes that came down through the family.
Nobody wrote them down. You learned by standing at the stove, watching how much pimento went in, hearing when the pot was ready. That's how these dishes reached us, and that's how we cook them now. The same seasoning, the same timing, the same patience.
Oxtail takes hours because it takes hours. Curry goat is slow-cooked because there's no other way to get it tender. The jerk carries real heat because that's what jerk is. We'd rather make it properly than make it faster.
How we work
Three things we don't compromise on.
Ingredients first
Real island spices, fresh produce, and seafood done to order. What goes in the pot decides everything that comes out of it.
Cooked the same morning
A different soup every day of the week, a different chef's special beside it. Nothing sits waiting for tomorrow.
Treated like family
Ask what's good today and you'll get an honest answer. Come in hungry, leave full, and bring people next time.

The welcome
Somewhere to sit down, not just somewhere to order from.
Breakfast starts early. Ackee and saltfish, callaloo, saltfish, a pot of porridge, and fried dumplings still warm. By midday the platters are going out, and by evening the oxtail has had all the time it needs.
If you're short on time, call ahead and it'll be boxed and waiting. If you'd rather stay in the car, pull up out front and we'll bring it out. Feeding a crowd? We cater.
“The natural taste of Jamaica. Nothing added to impress you, nothing taken away to make it easier.”
